Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

Hello Heart is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. This role is crucial for building the underlying infrastructure for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large datasets. The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with researchers, architects, and engineers to design and build high-quality data processing flows.This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week in the Tel Aviv office.Responsibilities:

• End-to-end development of data pipelines and data models.
• Working with major data flows, including structured and unstructured data.
• Operating parts of the production system.
• Developing and integrating systems that retrieve and analyze data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing server-side Data solutions.
• Proven experience in creating and optimizing big data processes, pipelines, and architectures.
• Proven experience with the AWS ecosystem.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes in Production.
• Experience with at least one high-level system language (e.g., Python, Scala).
• Experience working on production-grade projects.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow - Advantage
• Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies (Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce) - Advantage
