Backend Infrastructure Engineer

Hello Heart is seeking a Backend Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. The ideal candidate will be passionate about code, high performance, and quality. This individual will collaborate with experienced developers to build innovative products that impact lives. They will be responsible for maintaining the core backend infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. The engineer will set up and maintain backend infrastructure standards, address scale and performance issues, implement security measures, and utilize cloud infrastructure tools.Role involves:

• Maintaining core backend infrastructure
• Maintaining cloud infrastructure
• Maintaining data pipelines
• Setting up and maintaining backend infrastructure standards
• Handling scale and performance issues
• Implementing security enforcements and remediation
• Using cloud infrastructure tools and technologies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of production experience as a Backend Engineer
• Functional Programming experience with at least one of Scala/Clojure/Lisp
• Experience with React NodeJs - Advantage
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
• Experience with Docker, building and deploying containers
• BSc in computer science or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience working with distributed systems based on events streaming (Rabbit, Kafka, etc.) - Advantage
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools - Advantage
• Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies
