Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Shared Services team in Toronto. This role focuses on creating exceptional user experiences through user research, design, and prototyping, with a particular focus on invoicing solutions. The Senior Product Designer will:
- Lead project work from a design perspective, facilitating design reviews.
- Leverage UX expertise and understanding of design systems.
- Design holistic systems, flows, and interfaces.
- Draw insights from research and data to create tangible solutions.
- Build relationships and advocate for the user when collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Be a positive role model and advocate for design within Lightspeed.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A design-thinking education or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of in-house product, UX/UI design experience.
- Excellent communication and visualization skills.
- Experience with service design practices.
- Fluency in design systems, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and agile software such as JIRA.
