Job Description
The Director of Account Management role at Garner Health involves leading a team of Account Managers focused on the mid-market segment (100-500 lives). The Director will be responsible for the success and retention of clients within this segment, establishing scalable processes, and collaborating with other leaders to advance Garner’s mission. This is a remote position with up to 25% travel.

What this role involves:
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of account managers.
  • Designing and building systems and processes for team scaling.
  • Holding the team accountable for executing key workflows and meeting KPIs.
  • Monitoring client health and other client success KPIs.
  • Developing and executing best practice standards and workflows.
  • Managing strong broker and client relationships.
  • Collaborating with product, sales, and member services teams.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing and growing a B2B account management org in the healthcare and benefits industry.
  • Experience supporting clients to increase engagement and maximize the value of a SaaS solution.
  • Strong ability to think systematically and design operational processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Desire to be a part of the mission to improve the healthcare system.

What this role offers:
  • Competitive salary range of $130,000 - $165,000.
