Senior Vice President, Account Manager

Job Description

Golin is seeking a Senior Vice President, Account Manager to join their Issues and Crises Practice. The ideal candidate will help clients identify, mitigate, and respond to potential issues, implementing effective recovery strategies. The Senior Vice President will work across various industries, with a preference for experience in the food and beverage sector. They will report to the Executive Vice President of Issues and Crises and will train and manage junior staff.Role involves:

• Advising clients on strategies to mitigate risks.
• Creating and executing comprehensive response strategies.
• Designing and implementing recovery campaigns.
• Training and managing junior staff.
• Providing counsel across industries, especially food and beverage.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for issue detection and risk assessment.
• Proven track record of advising clients in high-pressure situations.
• Experience managing issues on social media and with traditional media.
• Extensive experience in food and beverage industries.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients.
• Outstanding communication skills.
