Golin is seeking a Senior Vice President of Public Affairs to join their Issues and Crises Practice. This role is crucial for helping clients manage potential issues and crises, as well as implementing effective recovery strategies. The Senior Vice President will work across various industries, with a preference for experience in the food and beverage sector. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and tackling sensitive issues under tight deadlines.
Role Involves:
- Advising clients on strategies to mitigate risks.
- Creating and executing comprehensive response strategies.
- Designing and implementing recovery campaigns.
- Training and managing junior staff.
- Providing counsel across numerous industries.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in public relations or communications.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and data stacks.
- Proven track record of advising clients in high-pressure situations.
- Experience managing issues and crises on social media and with traditional media.
- Extensive experience in food and beverage industries.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills.
