Event Executive, Multicultural Marketing (Home Improvement Client)

Job Description

Octagon is seeking an Event Executive to plan and execute event and experiential marketing programs for a Home Improvement client, focusing on multicultural audiences. This role involves working closely with the internal Octagon team, client team, and agency partners.Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing on-site activities and operations.
• Writing event guidebooks and activation recaps.
• Managing outside vendors and event materials.
• Liaising with internal teams and client departments.
• Traffic sponsorship and promotional media assets.
• Supporting additional Octagon accounts as needed.

Requirements:

• Passion for sports, entertainment, gaming, music, and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture.
• General understanding of U.S. Multicultural markets.
• Experience with event planning and execution.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to travel and work weekends/holidays.
