Job Description

Octagon is seeking a Hospitality Manager for their Global Hospitality team, supporting a Payment Services client. The role involves planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs, with a focus on event planning, logistics, and customer hosting. The Hospitality Manager will support the team in delivering world-class events, working in a team environment with a diverse group of people from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

Role Involves:

  • Serving as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments, and agency partners.
  • Managing logistics relating to program planning and execution, including hotel and transportation manifests, and event management.
  • Overseeing vendors and contracts to deliver flawless event execution.
  • Managing guest communications pre, during, and post-event.
  • Managing finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations.
  • Developing sales decks and presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industry.

Requirements:

  • An impressive work ethic with the initiative to constantly go above and beyond.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing VIP service.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a hospitality or project management role.
  • Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
  • A positive mentality, with a “no job is too small” approach.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and work weekends or holidays as needed.
