Solutions Engineer

Job Description

Yext is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support the growth of its client base, focusing on clients and prospects within a defined North American territory. The Solutions Engineer will understand customer needs, develop appropriate solution footprints, and assess benefits. They will perform needs assessments and analyses to define business objectives and demonstrate how Yext solutions support those requirements.

The role involves:

• Partnering with the Field Sales team to develop account/opportunity strategies.
• Working with Yext clients/prospects and/or Yext Partners to aid the positioning and scope of a solution.
• Creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships across enterprise accounts and strategic partners.
• Providing customer-specific product demonstrations.
• Offering guidance on technical aspects of Yext solutions.
• Communicating the value of Yext solutions in the marketplace.
• Collaborating with Customer Solutions Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Development.
• Supporting Yext Marketing with various activities.
• Assisting with the completion of technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or similar college-level education.
• Minimum 2 years of business experience as a Solutions Engineer within a SaaS business environment or equivalent relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing/product experiences and respective industry knowledge.
• Ability to develop business cases that communicate requirements and solutions strategy to enterprise-level prospects and customers.
• Must work well in a team selling environment.
• Experience of working to a MEDDPIC Sales Process (or similar).
• Demonstrated history of quota attainment or team goal attainment.
• Experience selling to and working with C-Level and top-line management to understand business strategy and objectives.
• Must be willing to travel to various regions supported by Yext across North America.
