Senior Accountant International

Job Description

Yext is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its International Accounting team. This role is based in Hyderabad and requires an onsite presence.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for intercompany accounts, statutory accounting, financial statement preparation, and assisting in day-to-day transaction processing. The role involves preparing account reconciliations, performing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements.

What this role involves:

• Maintaining statutory accounting, filings, and reporting in compliance with Local GAAP.
• Performing local GAAP vs. US GAAP reconciliations.
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with local regulations.
• Participating in various accounting functions, including preparing reconciliations and rollforwards.
• Assisting with reconciliations between subledgers and the general ledger.
• Participating in intercompany transactions.
• Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Working with independent auditors to provide support for audited financial statements.
• Managing, analyzing, and reconciling large volumes of data in Excel.
• Supporting leadership in completing special projects and ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years experience in general ledger accounting.
• Working understanding of GAAP/ IFRS / Local GAAP.
• Proficient in managing and analyzing large-scale data.
• Ability to identify problems and discrepancies.
• Collaborative style with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task.
• Excellent written and formal presentation skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience working in an international business environment.
• Ability and willingness to work shift hours to support the U.S. team.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Coupa, Blackline, and Tableau or equivalent systems is required.
