Job Description
Yext is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Mid-Enterprise Sales team. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and developing sales opportunities within Yext's mid-size corporate sales segment. They will lead sophisticated sales cycles, often addressing C-level executives, and forecast sales activity and revenue achievement. The Senior Account Executive will also promote the Yext vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account-specific initiatives.
The role involves:
- Prospecting and developing sales opportunities
- Leading sophisticated sales cycles
- Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement
- Promoting the Yext vision
- Owning the entire sales process
- Territory/Vertical identification and research
- Pipeline development
Yext requires candidates to have:
- BA/BS degree or similar college level education or relevant experience
- 5+ years of full sales life cycle experience, preferably in SaaS
- Experience handling the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level
- Track record of success in carrying a quota, closing Fortune 1000 deals
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Experience handling and closing complex sales cycles
- Successful history of net direct new business sales
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
