Job Description

Yext is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Mid-Enterprise Sales team. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and developing sales opportunities within Yext's mid-size corporate sales segment. They will lead sophisticated sales cycles, often addressing C-level executives, and forecast sales activity and revenue achievement. The Senior Account Executive will also promote the Yext vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account-specific initiatives.

The role involves:

  • Prospecting and developing sales opportunities
  • Leading sophisticated sales cycles
  • Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement
  • Promoting the Yext vision
  • Owning the entire sales process
  • Territory/Vertical identification and research
  • Pipeline development

Yext requires candidates to have:

  • BA/BS degree or similar college level education or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of full sales life cycle experience, preferably in SaaS
  • Experience handling the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level
  • Track record of success in carrying a quota, closing Fortune 1000 deals
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Experience handling and closing complex sales cycles
  • Successful history of net direct new business sales
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
