Archer Aviation is seeking a Sr. Airframe Manufacturing Engineer to develop and refine manufacturing processes for airframe structures. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance. What this role involves: - Developing and refining manufacturing processes for primary and secondary airframe structures.
- Collaborating with design, quality, and analysis teams.
- Creating and maintaining tooling solutions, fixtures, and assembly aids.
- Troubleshooting real-time build issues on the shop floor.
- Coordinating with supply chain partners and certification authorities.
- Providing mentorship to junior manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD (e.g., CATIA, NX) and familiarity with digital manufacturing systems (PLM/MES).
- Solid understanding of DFM principles for composite structures.
- Excellent communication skills.
