Job Description
Archer Aviation is seeking a Staff Airframe Analysis Engineer to lead the development of major structural airframe assemblies. The successful candidate will apply their understanding of load paths and design best practices to create robust structural configurations. This role involves demonstrating structural integrity through calculations and finite element methods, supporting design reviews, and collaborating with various teams.Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development of structural airframe assemblies.
  • Providing technical guidance on design concepts.
  • Demonstrating structural integrity through calculations and finite element methods.
  • Supporting design reviews and component/assembly tests.
  • Conducting analysis in support of MRB.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and engineers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of structural analysis experience.
  • In-depth understanding of loading scenarios and mechanics of composite materials.
  • Advanced proficiency in hand calculations and finite element analysis.
  • Ability to generate detailed analysis reports and certification documents.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Archer offers:
  • A base pay between $151,680 and $189,600.
