Job Description
Archer, an aerospace company, is seeking a Quality Inspector in Covington, Georgia. The Quality Inspector will execute daily inspections for receiving, in-process, and final inspections, including electrical components, electronic assemblies, and PCBs. They will document defects, collaborate with engineering, and review manufacturing operations for compliance. The inspector will also contribute to aircraft inspection plans and support the development of Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques.

Requirements include a high school diploma, certification in IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620, and 5+ years of experience using basic inspection tools. The candidate should have experience with tolerance and drawing reviews, quality control specifications, and AS9102 compliant first article inspections. Experience with MES systems like SAP and knowledge of measurement terminology are also required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified or ability to certify to IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
- 5+ years’ hands on experience using basic inspection tools
- Experience with tolerance and drawing reviews
- Ability to read and interpret quality control specifications
- Experience completing AS9102 compliant first article inspections
- Experience with MES systems such as SAP
- Basic calibration knowledge
- Ability to identify/recognize inspection errors and nonconformances and initiate corrective action
