Job Description
Nabis, the #1 Licensed Cannabis Wholesale Platform, is seeking a Last Mile Operations Associate for their Los Angeles location. This role is crucial for managing product transfers and orders between Nabis’ last mile hubs and the pick and pack facility. The associate will work an 8-hour shift starting at 3 am, Monday through Friday. Nabis is backed by Y Combinator and aims to scale the cannabis supply chain with technology.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, tracking, and staging cross-hub orders.
- Assisting with tracking and preparation of product transfers.
- Coordinating product pickups within the designated territory.
- Unloading and staging product, preparing Metrc paperwork.
- Operating vehicle lift gates, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Constructing and wrapping pallets.
- Documenting pallet weights and logging in appropriate channels.
- Ensuring proper pre-loading of vehicles.
- Monitoring rescheduled orders and product rejections.
- Supporting the OTR team and addressing driver-related questions.
- Generating and preparing required paperwork for routes.
- Conducting sweeps for canceled, rushed, and rescheduled orders.
- Support with occasional delivery driving to retail customers.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associates degree OR 2 years relevant work experience
- Cannabis experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist.
- Comfortable using ladders and loading/unloading from top shelves.
- Ability to work occasional evening/weekend shifts.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
- Clean driving record.
