Job Description

TheFork is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a crucial role in shaping and fortifying its data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between source systems and stakeholders, working within the Business Analytics team and collaborating with finance, marketing, product, engineering, and operations.This role involves:

• Shaping and fortifying data infrastructure
• Acting as a crucial link between source systems and stakeholders
• Collaborating with various departments including finance, marketing, product, engineering, and operations
• Diving deep into data to uncover patterns and trends
• Building and maintaining a robust data platform
• Engaging with business teams to understand their needs

Requirements include:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 8-10 years in analytics engineering or data engineering
• Proven experience using dbt to manage data transformations
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data manipulation
• Extensive experience with Snowflake and other cloud platforms
• Skilled in creating reusable, modular dbt models
• Proficiency with Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
• Autonomous and proactive work ethic
• Business-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Agility and speed in a fast-paced environment
• High standard for delivering quality results
• Analytical thinking skills
