Senior Technical Operations Specialist(Advertising Operations)

Tripadvisor is seeking a Senior Technical Operations Specialist to join their Technical Delivery team. This is a hybrid role based in Needham, MA, requiring occasional travel to the company offices.

The Senior Technical Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, optimization, and project management to various parts of the Core Business. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing processes within advertising operations.

What this role involves:

• Managing multiple automation and optimization projects simultaneously.
• Assessing and prioritizing the severity of technical issues and project requests.
• Providing strategic recommendations on launch blockers and identifying alternative solutions.
• Identifying opportunities for AI-driven automation, process optimization, and workflow enhancements.
• Serving as a consultant to Tier 1 clients on conversion tracking implementation.
• Launching new e-commerce campaigns and providing technical support for various advertising initiatives.
• Developing expertise in internal operational tools and third-party platforms.
• Monitoring the health of live partner metasearch campaigns.

What Tripadvisor needs from you:

• Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ year of experience in Client Services/Delivery, Ad Operations, project management, business analysis, or other technical support roles
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with process improvement and automation tools.
• Advanced Excel and basic SQL skills.
• Basic knowledge of software interaction programs (API).
• Previous experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau).
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
