Altana Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves translating technical information into practical value for clients, conducting technical presentations, and developing demonstrations of Altana's solutions. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
Role involves: - Owning technical relationships with prospective customers.
- Conducting technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Developing and executing Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot projects.
- Collaborating with sales executives to develop strategies.
- Providing pre-sales technical support and guidance.
- Building dashboards with data using Databricks.
- Developing high-quality proposals and technical documentation.
Requirements: - A university degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience as a Sales Engineer in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong technical acumen and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python.
- Knowledge of networking and APIs.
- Experience in the supply chain industry.
- Experience with intelligence and business intelligence (BI) tools.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to correlate customer's business problems with Altana's solutions.
- Experience in value-based selling.
- Proximity to or the ability to commute to the Williamsburg hub in Brooklyn, NY.
- Ability to travel when needed.
