Software Engineer III, Relay

Job Description

Box is seeking a Software Engineer III to join its Relay team in Warsaw, Poland. This role involves expanding Relay with additional features and supporting products, impacting millions of users who rely on it daily to automate routine tasks. The engineer will own large components of the system and work independently, contributing to the development and fostering of Box culture in the newly created office.Role involves:

• Attending and engaging in weekly stand ups, team meetings, manager 1:1s
• Working collaboratively with other engineers, team members and across teams
• Playing a role in developing and fostering Box culture in the newly created office
• Representing Box Poland internally and externally
• Participating in the production on-call duties rotation with the team members

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in Java
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services
• Skilled in designing and developing APIs
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, and object-oriented programming
• Passionate about new technologies with the capability to implement them in existing products
• Demonstrates ownership mentality and strives for excellence in both technical work and team interactions
• Proficient in English
