Box is seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join their Content Capabilities team in Warsaw, Poland. This team is focused on supporting the Box Content Cloud’s growth by building innovative new platform capabilities. The engineer will work with a small team of talented individuals to solve challenges in the content management space, impacting the productivity of millions of users.

The role involves:

• Developing strategies for evolving the platform.
• Collaborating with product management to refine requirements.
• Designing and implementing scalable services with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
• Improving the current code base and infrastructure patterns.
• Working with technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, BigTable, Elasticsearch, Spark, and Istio.
• Mentoring new engineers and interns.

Box requires candidates to have:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience building high-scale services.
• Proficiency in languages like Java, PHP, Go, C or C++.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying high quality software.
