Software Backend Engineer III, Activity Management

Job Description

Box is seeking a Software Backend Engineer III to join their Activity Management team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is within Box's Enterprise Engineering organization, focusing on supporting enterprise admins in configuring Box apps, onboarding users, setting permissions, and running reports. The engineer will contribute to both Insights&Reports (I&R) and Users&Groups (U&G) domains.

• Coding and developing high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborating with product managers to scope new features and provide project estimates.
• Participating in weekly stand-ups, team meetings, and one-on-one sessions with managers.
• Triaging bugs and resolving issues during on-call duties.
• Contributing to the development and promotion of Box culture in the Warsaw office.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, and object-oriented programming.
• Ability to assess project feasibility and propose innovative solutions.
• Proficient English language skills.
