Software Test Lead Engineer at Accela

Accela is seeking a Software Test Development Lead (SDET – Lead) to join their team in Costa Rica. This role is crucial for ensuring full test coverage for Accela Civic Platform releases. The SDET Lead will advance Accela's Test Automation, Test-Driven Development, CI/CD, and Performance Engineering. They will define KPIs, standards, and baseline architectures to deliver systems.

Responsibilities:

• Launch and deliver new Accela product releases.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and scenarios.
• Enhance frameworks for cost planning and quality assurance.
• Lead platform initiatives for automation and infrastructure.

• Identify gaps and strategize improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Experience with system testing and test automation.
• Knowledge of frontend, backend, API, and mobile testing.
• Proficiency in Agile and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analytical skills to resolve software issues.
• Clear communication skills.
