Job Description
Box is seeking a Release Manager to manage and optimize the integration, deployment, and continuous delivery processes within their Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Copado, Salesforce DevOps, and Release Management (RM) practices to ensure smooth and efficient releases across multiple teams and environments. As a key member of Box's team, the Release Manager will work closely with the Salesforce development and operations teams to streamline the release processes, ensure alignment with business goals, and improve the overall speed and quality of product releases.

What this role involves:
  • Managing and supporting Salesforce deployments using Copado for CI/CD.
  • Implementing best practices for Copado, including setting up pipelines and managing user stories.
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient deployment pipelines.
  • Leading and coordinating release management activities.
  • Developing and maintaining release schedules.
  • Overseeing the coordination of pre-release testing, validation, and post-release monitoring.
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of release cycles.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Automating manual processes to minimize errors and speed up the release cycle.
  • Resolving deployment issues and providing ongoing support for production environments.
  • Performing root cause analysis for release failures and proactively addressing recurring issues.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, specifically with Copado for CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce Release Management.
  • Hands-on experience in Release Management (RM) within a Salesforce environment.
  • Proficient with Copado, Salesforce development tools, and deployment strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD practices, and other DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce environments such as Sandbox, Development, and Production.
  • Knowledge of Version Control systems and experience with GitHub/GitLab.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security, permissions, and data management best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
