Job Description

Box is seeking a Manager for the Service Solutions Consultant (SC) team in Japan. Box is a leader in content cloud solutions, serving over 115,000 customers worldwide, including major global and Japanese companies. The company provides data protection, collaboration, and workflow integration with secure AI.

The Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales for the Box Consulting (BC) team, which focuses on supporting business process transformation through Box implementations. This role involves developing strategies, managing and mentoring the team, and leading proposal activities for key accounts. The Manager will collaborate closely with sales, CSM, and partner teams to enhance the overall proposal capabilities of the SC team and ensure optimal service offerings for all customers.

What this role involves:

  • Managing the service solutions team, including goal setting, training, evaluation, and support.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual team KPIs.
  • Enhancing collaboration with the license sales team to maximize revenue.
  • Leading proposal activities and closing deals for large and critical accounts.
  • Providing proposal support and review for SC team members' projects.
  • Strengthening collaboration with the US team to share knowledge and deploy best practices in the Japanese market.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of practical experience in professional services or consulting sales.
  • Team management experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience in providing service proposals for enterprise clients (SIer/consulting/SaaS).
  • Experience in leading proposals, negotiations, and closing deals in collaboration with sales organizations and other departments.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Ability to recruit and develop team members.
  • English proficiency to collaborate with global teams while understanding the characteristics of the Japanese market (business level).
