People Operations Generalist (Spain)

Job Description

Very Good Ventures is seeking a People Operations Generalist to contribute to the growth and success of its employees and the company. The People Team Generalist will support the People Operations function by ensuring data, processes, and policies are organized, accurate, and helpful. This role will impact multiple areas of the global employee experience, including onboarding, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, performance management, leaves, and offboarding. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats, making recommendations and decisions balancing the needs of both employees and the company, and participating in the creation and execution of People programs. As the Generalist progresses, they will develop domain expertise in specific categories of People Operations, develop V1 drafts of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures, and increasingly collaborate with members outside the People team in support of employees, managers, and the business.Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation of People-related systems and maintain data accuracy.
• Support recruitment efforts and employer branding.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Assist with internal processes such as compensation adjustments and performance reviews.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Contribute to compliant policies and practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Recent Graduates or final-year students preferred)
• 2+ yrs of HR experience at a tech company
• Ability to problem solve and connect decisions to big-picture goals.
• Desire to build a world-class people operations function for a global, dispersed workforce.
• Good listener and communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Experience managing confidential information with discretion.
