AGILE COACH : WPP OPEN - Contract / Permanent

Job Description

WPP is seeking an Agile Coach for the WPP Open Programme. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in embedding Agile principles and practices within teams across the organisation. He/She will work closely with leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to enable a culture of agility, foster continuous improvement, and ensure high-performing teams. This role requires deep expertise in Agile frameworks, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to inspire and coach teams toward self-organisation and operational excellence.

What this role involves:

• Driving Agile adoption across teams, departments, and projects.
• Mentoring and coaching teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership.
• Supporting the scaling of Agile practices, tailoring frameworks to fit the programme's needs.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies, workshops, and retrospectives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile values.
• Educating and engaging leadership and stakeholders on Agile principles.
• Helping resolve impediments that block team progress.
• Advocating a culture of feedback and learning.
• Developing and tracking Agile metrics to measure team performance.
• Providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimise delivery and team efficiency.
• Advocating for Agile mindsets and cultural shifts.
• Facilitating workshops and training sessions to educate teams on Agile frameworks.
• Supporting teams through organisational changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certifications in Agile frameworks are preferred.
• 5+ years as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role.
• Proven track record of driving Agile transformations in large organisations.
• Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
• Exceptional facilitation skills.
• Strong ability to engage, influence, and coach stakeholders.
• Skilled at identifying and addressing impediments.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
