Job Description
WPP is seeking a ServiceNow Data Manager to oversee and manage foundation data and processes within ServiceNow. The Foundation Data Manager will collaborate with global internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure accurate management of configuration items. This role involves developing the Configuration Management Community of Practice and reporting to the Global Configuration & Data Integration Team Lead.
Responsibilities: - Lead the development, implementation, and management of the Foundation Data Management process.
- Ensure processes, policies, and procedures are well-defined and documented.
- Manage and maintain Foundation Data tables within ServiceNow.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Foundation Data Management.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with service owners and technology teams to align CIs to Foundation Data elements.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Foundation Data tables.
- Develop and implement data quality metrics and reporting tools.
- Provide regular reports on Foundation Data Management activities.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies.
- Drive the automation of Foundation Data Management tasks.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of Foundation Data Analysts and specialists.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Data Management.
- Experience managing data structures and tools in a multi-vendor environment.
- Experience within ServiceNow, including CSDM implementation.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of data structures, sources, organization, storage, and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- ITIL / ITSM knowledge / experience / certifications an advantage.
