IT Operations Manager

Job Description

WPP is seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead and manage the IT operations in Hong Kong. The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for aligning technology strategy with business outcomes, overseeing the local technology landscape, and managing third-party vendors. They will also serve as an escalation point for service quality issues and drive local delivery of IT transformation projects. WPP is looking for someone with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in IT strategy development.

Role involves:
• Liaising with business leadership and executive teams
• Overseeing the local technology landscape
• Managing third parties and partners
• Conducting service reviews
• Driving local delivery of IT transformation projects

Requirements:
• A demonstrable track record of leading individuals and teams through complex change
• Strong technical background
• Experience, gravitas, and professionalism to engage and influence at the Executive level
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Experience in IT strategy development and IT governance
• Good knowledge of all aspects of IT Service Delivery
• Excellent self-organisation
• Direct experience of managing budgets
• Strong project management skills
• Completer / finisher mentality
• Good commercial insight
• Understanding of the creative mindset and user experience, exposure to media businesses
