Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their NoAm team in Vancouver, Canada. This role is the initial point of contact for potential customers and focuses on driving revenue growth through lead generation and qualification.
  • Qualifying warm inbound leads from marketing sources via phone and email
  • Nurturing leads for the inside sales team
  • Creating positive first impressions for prospects and customers
  • Identifying customer needs and determining the fit of Lightspeed solutions
  • Managing multiple lead sources (calls, emails, chats, referrals)
  • Managing the customer database in Salesforce
  • Developing sales pipeline strategies with the Sales Development Manager
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience
  • Experience in technology (software, mobile, etc.) is a plus
  • Retail experience is an asset
  • English proficiency (bilingualism in French is a plus)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Autonomous, outgoing, and a self-starter attitude
  • Tech-savviness
