Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their growing NoAm team. This role is the initial point of contact for potential customers, focusing on driving revenue growth through lead generation and qualification. Shift will be from 11:00AM - 8:00PM MST.

The Sales Development Representative involves:

  • Qualifying warm inbound leads from marketing sources via phone and email.
  • Nurturing leads for the inside sales team.
  • Creating a positive first impression for prospects and customers.
  • Identifying customer needs to determine the suitability of Lightspeed solutions.
  • Managing multiple lead sources, including calls, emails, chats, and referrals.
  • Managing the customer database in Salesforce, ensuring all communications are logged.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Development Manager to develop strategies for sales pipeline growth.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Experience in technology (software, mobile, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in retail is an asset.
  • English proficiency; bilingualism in French is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • Autonomous, outgoing, and a self-starter.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to understand people who are not.
