Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Trainer to identify and develop talent, onboard new sales team members, and provide ongoing training to the sales team in the EMEA region. The Sales Trainer will identify training needs and develop measures to improve the skills and performance of the sales team. He/She will play a central role in the development of the sales team by providing individual coaching, designing training sessions, and creating training materials.
The role involves:
- Participating in the hiring process, conducting interviews, and evaluating talents.
- Developing and implementing training programs for new employees, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company processes.
- Analyzing training needs to identify gaps in the sales team's skills and close them in a targeted manner.
- Creating and maintaining customized training courses - both live and self-directed - using various learning methods.
- Planning and conducting training events.
- Tracking and analyzing relevant performance indicators to measure the success of training measures.
- Collaborating with sales managers to adapt training measures to business requirements and evaluate performance after training.
- Creating monthly reports on the onboarding of new employees and other training initiatives.
- Optimizing training programs through the analysis and interpretation of training data.
Requirements:
- Experience in creating and implementing training programs.
- Knowledge of e-learning platforms and interactive training methods such as role-playing.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment.
- Very good communication and motivation skills to involve various stakeholders.
- Experience in sales, sales enablement or sales coaching/training.
- Sound knowledge of sales techniques.
- Fluent English language skills in spoken and written.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience in working with international teams.
