Job Description
EBANX is seeking a Treasury Coordinator to manage and optimize treasury operations in Nigeria and other African markets. This role involves foreign exchange (FX) management, liquidity optimization, and banking relationships, ensuring efficient financial operations aligned with global treasury strategies.Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing efficient processes for currency exchange from NGN, EGP, KES and ZAR to USD.
  • Designing and enhancing FX remittance workflows for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Aligning with global FX strategy, ensuring execution in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the execution of treasury operations in Nigeria and other African markets, ensuring liquidity and cash flow optimization.
  • Supporting global treasury initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establishing and managing relationships with banks, payment providers, and currency exchangers to ensure seamless financial transactions.
  • Negotiating competitive FX rates and enhance banking infrastructure to support business needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in treasury, FX management, or banking operations in the African payments or financial ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, currency exchange, and local financial regulations.
  • Ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and implement scalable treasury solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
