Principal Manager - Apps

Job Description

Forward Networks is seeking a Principal Manager - Apps to lead multiple engineering teams across the US and India. The Principal Manager will collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. This role involves leadership, collaboration, technical oversight, and strategic input.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple engineering teams across the US and India.
• Foster a collaborative environment between geographically dispersed teams.
• Mentor and coach engineering managers and technical leads.
• Collaborate with Product Management to review requirements.
• Collaborate with UX teams to review design proposals.
• Provide guidance on technical architecture and design.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of product features.
• Partner with senior leadership to align the engineering vision.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years in an engineering leadership role (managing multiple teams).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical background in building enterprise-level products.
• Experience in project planning and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
