Job Description
Forward Networks is seeking a highly driven Regional Sales Director in Japan to expand its presence in the Japanese market. The company is revolutionizing network management with its Forward Enterprise platform, a vendor-agnostic "digital twin" of the network. This platform serves as a single source of truth, enabling network operators to verify security, troubleshoot, avoid outages, and modernize network management.This role involves selling Forward Networks solutions to prospective and existing customers across Japan, while collaborating with partners. The ideal candidate will contribute to building a special company and selling a platform that addresses real networking challenges.Responsibilities:
  • Own the development, building, execution, and maintaining a sales pipeline to achieve/exceed quota objectives.
  • Identify and qualify leads and generate new Fortune 1000 opportunities to achieve quota quarterly and annually.
  • Building and developing strategic working relationships with partners and clients and maintaining a high level of face-to-face contact
  • Analyze potential sales opportunities by using data analysis and segmented research to identify the attributes most valued by our potential clients.
  • Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of at least 3x revenue targets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7-10 years full lifecycle enterprise selling, including 6+ years co-selling with a strong partner network.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota in technology sales.
  • Engages with urgency and leverages all sales channels to drive Forward Networks’ success.
  • Proven success in sales organizations with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • In-depth knowledge of the networking and security industry, including products, competitors, history, emerging trends, and market dynamics.
  • Preferred experience in selling enterprise software using an ARR model.
  • Effectively communicates business value to C-suite executives and key market stakeholders.
