Forward Networks is seeking a Systems (Sales) Engineer to revolutionize network management. The Systems Engineer will be the primary technical resource for the sales organization, working with large enterprise accounts. They will drive the technology evaluation stage, answer technical questions, and communicate business and technical value to all levels of management.Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary technical resource for the sales organization.
- Working with the sales team as the product advocate and key technical advisor.
- Driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Establishing technical feasibility and performing qualification of the potential technical deployment.
- Developing and delivering product demos and POCs.
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Working with internal product management and engineering teams to convey customer requirements.
- Representing the product to customers, partners, and at field events.
Required qualifications include:
- Strong understanding of networking and security solutions and vendors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5+ years’ experience selling to Enterprise customers for a networking company or relevant software vendor.
- 2 Years experience with some scripting or programming language.
- Superior presentation skills.
