Quality Assurance Specialist at Lightspeed Commerce

Lightspeed is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Tbilisi, Georgia. The company empowers merchants around the world to simplify, scale and provide exceptional customer experiences through its one-stop commerce platform. The successful candidate will collaborate with a cross-functional team, contribute to release testing, and ensure new functionality aligns with client specifications.

Role Involves:

• Designing, reviewing, maintaining, and executing manual & cross-browser tests
• Documenting test plans and procedures and maintaining QA knowledge base
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve feature defects
• Leading and participating in release testing for custom feature deployments
• Checking new functionality against requested specifications
• Sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in functional and integration testing
• Proven track record of excellent judgment in test planning, issue escalation, and release decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally Russian
• Knowledge of developer tools (Elements, Console, Network, Application)
• Experience with JavaScript, Bash, Git, grep, SQL, Curl, CSS, HTML, terminal is a plus
