Lightspeed is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team in Yerevan, Armenia. This role is within the eCommerce business unit, which aims to enable merchants to grow their businesses. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of custom feature deployments.Here’s what the role involves:
- Designing, reviewing, maintaining, and executing manual & cross-browser tests
- Documenting test plans and procedures and maintaining the QA knowledge base
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team to identify, document, and resolve feature defects.
- Leading and participating in the release testing efforts for custom feature deployment
- Checking if the new functionality matches the requested specifications.
- Sharing knowledge and best practices with the team, seeking improvement and progress.
- Previous experience in functional and integration testing
- A proven track record of excellent judgment in test planning, issue escalation, and release decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally Russian
- Familiarity with developer tools (Elements, Console, Network, Application)
- Experience with JavaScript, Bash, Git, grep, SQL, Curl, CSS, HTML, and terminal will be useful
