Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Java and Kotlin) to join their product Ecwid by Lightspeed in Yerevan. In this role, the candidate will actively contribute to extending the functionality of the flagship platform and play a key role in reinforcing quality standards. This position offers a chance to collaborate with a team of professionals, influencing the fastest-growing part within Lightspeed.Role responsibilities include:
  • Creating and extending functionality of products by contributing to the platform.
  • Developing clean and highly maintainable code.
  • Collaborating as part of a team (squad) to deliver product features and functionality.
  • Engaging with Product Managers, Architects, Senior/Principal developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Extending skills by learning from and growing with the team.
Requirements for this role:
  • Senior level work experience with Java/Kotlin.
  • Experience with Spring Framework.
  • Good experience with Relational databases and NoSql (PostgreSQL, Redis).
  • Experience with programming patterns and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to modern and mainstream technology.
  • Product mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ownership, openness, and commitment.
  • Full working proficiency in Russian and English.
