Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Front-end Software Engineer to join its product Ecwid by Lightspeed in Tbilisi. The ideal candidate will focus on front-end technologies and contribute to Lightspeed's eCommerce business unit, enabling merchants to grow their businesses. This role involves owning the delivery of major features from design to production release and working with various technology stacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js
  • Building modular and reusable components and libraries
  • Optimising application performance
  • Monitoring security updates and issues with Vue.js and dependencies
  • Proposing necessary upgrades and updates
  • Staying up-to-date with JavaScript and Vue.js developments

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • High proficiency with Vue.js framework
  • Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vite, Pinia, Vue Router
  • Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code
  • Proficiency with modern development tools, like Vite, Git
  • Experience with consuming and designing RESTful APIs
  • Full working proficiency in English
