GHX is seeking an Application Support Engineer II to provide technical support and maintenance for software applications. The successful candidate will ensure applications run smoothly and securely, address user issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves administrative support for production and integration environments and participation in an on-call rotation.GHX is a healthcare business and data automation company, empowering healthcare organizations to enable better patient care and maximize industry savings using our world class cloud-based supply chain technology exchange platform, solutions, analytics and services.
Responsibilities: - Troubleshooting application issues and closing the loop with all parties involved.
- Supporting new customer implementations and transitions to production support.
- Responding to technical application questions and issues.
- Handling escalations.
- Participating in maintenance, performance testing, and release activities.
- Administering JIRA ticket queues.
- Communicating information to team members, management, and customers.
- Administering monitoring tools.
- Providing feedback to product and development teams.
- Managing projects/upgrades/implementations.
- Creating and modifying articles in SalesForce.
Requirements: - 5+ years of Application Support or related experience.
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
- Effective communication skills.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or cloud-based architecture.
- Ability to understand and work with complex enterprise application environments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, scripting, APIs, and system integrations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
