Inventory Specialist- Atlanta Based, Full-Time Travel

Job Description

Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage medical/surgical supplies and 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for counting, stocking, and auditing consumable medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, surgical implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This temporary position requires extensive travel.GHX is a healthcare business and data automation company, empowering healthcare organizations to enable better patient care and maximize industry savings using our world class cloud-based supply chain technology exchange platform, solutions, analytics and services.Role involves:

• Accurately capturing inventory count data.
• Performing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Assembling/disassembling and adjusting inventory storage racks.
• Organizing and stocking inventory shelving.
• Following company procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

• High school education, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to meet hospital work standards (background check, drug test, vaccinations).
• State Issued Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.
• Mobile phone for company apps.
• Ability to use inventory computer programs.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Frequent travel across the US.
