Inventory Specialist-Dallas Based, Full-Time Travel

Job Description

GHX is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage medical/surgical supplies and 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for accurately counting, stocking, and auditing consumable medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, surgical implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This temporary position requires extensive travel.Role involves:

• Accurately capturing inventory count data.
• Performing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining competency in using technology for inventory data capture.
• Assembling/disassembling and adjusting inventory storage racks.
• Organizing and stocking inventory shelving.
• Following procedures and protocols outlined in job orientation and training.

Requirements:

• High school education, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to meet required standards to work within a hospital.
• State Issued Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.
• Must possess a mobile phone.
• Ability to use inventory computer programs.
• Must present a professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary English language.
• Frequent travel across the US.
