Inventory Specialist- Phoenix Based, Full-Time Travel

Job Description

Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage medical/surgical supplies and 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for counting, stocking, and auditing consumable medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, surgical implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This temporary position requires extensive travel.GHX enables better patient care and billions in savings for the healthcare community by maximizing automation, efficiency and accuracy of business processes.Role involves:

• Accurately capturing inventory count data.
• Performing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining competency in using technology for inventory data capture.
• Assembling/disassembling and adjusting inventory storage racks.
• Organizing and stocking inventory shelving.
• Following procedures and protocols outlined in job orientation and training.

Requirements:

• High school education, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to meet required standards to work within a hospital (background check, drug test, medical vaccinations).
• State Issued Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.
• Must possess a mobile phone to use company apps for timekeeping.
• Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within changing priorities.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Frequent travel across the US.
