Inventory Specialist-Seattle Based, Full-Time Travel

Job Description

GHX is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage medical/surgical supplies and 2-Bin Kanban systems. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for counting, stocking, and auditing medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This temporary role requires extensive travel and may involve installing and maintaining 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain lines.Role involves:

• Accurately capturing inventory count data.
• Performing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining competency in using technology for inventory data capture.
• Assembling/disassembling and adjusting inventory storage racks.
• Organizing and stocking inventory shelving.
• Picking and labeling supplies.
• Following procedures and protocols.
• Communicating with the Team Leader and collaborating with various teams.

Requirements:

• High school education, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to meet hospital work standards (background check, drug test, vaccinations).
• State-issued Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.
• Mobile phone for company apps.
• Ability to use inventory computer programs.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and flexibility.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Frequent travel across the US.
