Inventory Specialist-Tallahassee, Full-Time Travel

Job Description

GHX is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage medical/surgical supplies and 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for accurately counting, stocking, and auditing consumable medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, surgical implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This temporary role requires extensive travel.Role involves:

• Accurately capturing inventory count data using the HITS program, Excel, or paper count sheets.
• Performing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to the Team Leader.
• Maintaining competency in using technology for inventory data capture.
• Assembling/disassembling and adjusting inventory storage racks, carts, and shelving.
• Organizing and stocking inventory shelving as directed.
• Picking and labeling supplies for par locations.
• Following company procedures and protocols.
• Communicating with the Team Leader and collaborating with various teams.

Requirements:

• High school education, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to meet hospital work standards (background check, drug test, vaccinations).
• State-issued driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Mobile phone for company apps.
• Ability to use inventory computer programs.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Versatility and flexibility.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Frequent travel across the US.
