Inventory Specialist- West Palm Beach Based, Full-Time Travel

Job Description

Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage medical/surgical supplies and 2-Bin Kanban project supply chain systems. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for counting, stocking, and auditing consumable medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, surgical implants, instruments, and other hospital assets. This temporary position requires extensive travel across the US.GHX enables better patient care and billions in savings for the healthcare community by maximizing automation, efficiency, and accuracy of business processes.Responsibilities:

• Accurately capture inventory count data in the HITS program.
• Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Assemble/disassemble and adjust inventory storage racks.
• Organize and stock inventory shelving.
• Label bins and carts.
• Follow company procedures and protocols.
• Communicate with the Team Leader and collaborate with various teams.

Requirements:

• High school education, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to meet hospital work standards (background check, drug test, vaccinations).
• State Issued Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.
• Must possess a mobile phone to be able to use company apps for timekeeping purposes
• Ability to use inventory computer programs.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Frequent travel across the US is required.
