Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Software Developer (React Native) to join their Hospitality product group in North America. The successful candidate will contribute to expanding Lightspeed's reach into new markets and countries while enhancing their Cloud POS. He will join a global team of developers and use cutting-edge technologies to help restaurant owners provide excellent customer experiences.

Role Involves:

  • Delivering features and improvements to a large user base.
  • Implementing proof of concepts and fully-tested software.
  • Designing and leading technical initiatives.
  • Mentoring other developers.
  • Assisting QA and support staff.
  • Translating requirements into detailed plans.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience developing React Native and TypeScript applications for Android and iOS.
  • Ownership mindset throughout the SDLC.
  • Familiarity with functional programming.
  • Knowledge of app architectures and connectivity considerations.
  • Experience with unit and automated UI tests.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design and refactoring.
