What This Role Involves:
Coordinating cross-department initiatives between engineering, product, and other departments.
Maintaining and optimizing internal systems for tracking engineering projects and team activities.
Analyzing existing engineering processes to identify areas for improvement.
Assisting in translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
Supporting project management by tracking progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
Collaborating with finance and engineering to ensure accurate tracking of software development costs.
Providing front office support for the new Victoria, BC office, including event planning and occasional travel.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with software development concepts.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
