Job Description
impact.com is seeking a Software Engineering Operations Coordinator to act as a crucial link between engineering and other departments. This role ensures smooth communication and efficient operations within a fast-paced software engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, a technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

What This Role Involves:
  • Coordinating cross-department initiatives between engineering, product, and other departments.
  • Maintaining and optimizing internal systems for tracking engineering projects and team activities.
  • Analyzing existing engineering processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assisting in translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Supporting project management by tracking progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
  • Collaborating with finance and engineering to ensure accurate tracking of software development costs.
  • Providing front office support for the new Victoria, BC office, including event planning and occasional travel.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and duties.
