Job Description
impact.com is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure high-quality software delivery and promote testing best practices. The candidate will work globally across teams to maintain quality for key customers. They should be quick learners with attention to detail, capable of adapting to different needs and processes within the feature-rich platform.
Role involves:
- Hands-on software testing of bugs, features, and complex systems
- Certifying the quality of new and modified functionality
- Analyzing requirements and developing test plans
- Creating, revising, executing, and reviewing test cases
- Monitoring system health and reporting software defects
- Creating and maintaining test data and automated tests
- Reviewing and actioning pull requests
- Writing and maintaining documentation
- Supporting multiple cross-functional projects
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Solid programming skills
- Understanding of testing theory, methodologies, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and domains
- At least 3 years of software testing experience
- At least 2 years of test automation experience using multiple testing frameworks
