Job Description
impact.com is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure high-quality software delivery. The candidate will advocate for software testing best practices and instill a strong quality mindset. This role involves working globally across teams to maintain the highest quality for key customers. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with an eye for detail, capable of adapting to different needs and processes within the impact.com platform.
What This Role Involves:
- Hands-on software testing of bugs, features, and complex software systems
- Certifying the quality of new and modified functionality before release
- Analyzing requirements and developing test plans
- Creating, revising, executing, and reviewing test cases
- Monitoring system health and reporting software defects
- Creating and maintaining test data and automated tests
- Reviewing and actioning pull requests
- Writing and maintaining documentation
- Supporting multiple cross-functional projects
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Solid programming skills
- Understanding of testing theory, methodologies, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and domains
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing
- At least 2 years of test automation experience
